This Privacy Policy describes how ENE Company Limited ("GoRide," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects your information in connection with your use of the GoRide Driver mobile application (the "Driver App") and our related services (collectively, the "Services"). This policy applies to all drivers, including those providing ride-hailing, car sharing, car rental, and cargo/transporter services through the Driver App.
Your privacy is important to us. By using the GoRide Driver App and Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information to provide and improve our Services to you, facilitate your earnings, and ensure the safety and reliability of the GoRide platform. The types of information we collect include:
- a. Information You Provide Directly to Us:
- Account Registration Information: When you create or update your GoRide Driver account, we collect personal details such as your name, email address, phone number, password, profile picture, physical address, date of birth, and government-issued identification (e.g., driver's license, national ID).
- Vehicle Information: Details about your vehicle(s), including make, model, year, license plate number, vehicle registration, and insurance information.
- Financial Information: Bank account details for payouts, tax identification numbers, and other relevant financial information for processing earnings and complying with tax regulations.
- Driver & Transporter Credentials: Driving license details, commercial licenses (for cargo/transporter services), vehicle inspection reports, and any other certifications required by law or GoRide.
- Communications: When you communicate with us (e.g., customer support, in-app chat with riders/users), we collect the content of your communications and any information you provide.
- Feedback and Ratings: Information you provide when you rate or provide feedback about riders/users or trips.
- b. Information Collected Automatically Through Your Use of the Services:
- Location Information (CRITICAL for Driver App Functionality):
- Precise Location (Always, or While App is in Use/Background): We collect your precise location data (GPS, Wi-Fi, cellular network triangulation) continuously when the GoRide Driver App is open and running in the foreground or background, especially when you are online, available for trips, or on an active trip. This is essential for:
- Matching you with nearby riders/cargo tenders.
- Providing real-time navigation and routing for pickups and drop-offs.
- Tracking trip progress and calculating fares accurately.
- Ensuring safety and emergency response (e.g., SOS feature, monitoring for unusual activity).
- Optimizing demand-supply balancing (e.g., directing you to high-demand areas).
- Verifying trip completion and service delivery.
- You can control the Driver App's access to your location services through your device settings. However, disabling location services will prevent you from receiving trip requests and using the core functionalities of the Driver App.
- Transaction Information: Details related to your completed trips, including date and time of service, earnings, distance traveled, and payment method used by the rider/user. For cargo, this includes tender details, onload/offload confirmations.
- Usage and Device Information: We collect information about how you interact with our Services, including access dates and times, app features or pages viewed, app crashes and other system activity, and the third-party sites or services you were using before interacting with our Services. We also collect device information such as hardware model, operating system and version, software and file names and versions, preferred language, unique device identifier, advertising identifiers, serial number, device motion information, and mobile network information.
- Log Data: Server logs may include your device's Internet Protocol ("IP") address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, and other statistics.
- Cookies and Tracking Technologies: We use cookies and similar tracking technologies (e.g., web beacons, pixels) to track activity on our Service and hold certain information. These are used to analyze trends, administer the website, track users’ movements around the website, and gather demographic information about our user base as a whole.

- Background Checks & Driving Records: We may obtain information about you from third-party background check providers and public records (e.g., driving records, criminal records) as permitted by law, for purposes of driver/transporter eligibility, safety, and compliance.
- Third-Party Services: If you link, connect, or log in to your GoRide Driver account with a third-party service, we may receive information from them.

2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for various purposes, including:
- To Provide and Maintain Our Services:
- Facilitate trip requests, matching you with riders/users or cargo tenders.
- Provide navigation and routing for pickups and drop-offs.
- Process your earnings and facilitate payouts.
- Enable communication between you and riders/users.
- Manage your availability and online status.
- To Improve and Develop Our Services:
- Perform internal operations necessary to provide our Services, including troubleshooting software bugs and operational problems.
- Conduct data analysis, testing, and research to improve the driver experience, optimize matching algorithms, and enhance service efficiency.
- Develop new features and services (e.g., high-demand notifications).
- Monitor and analyze usage and activity trends.
- For Safety and Security:
- Verify your identity, vehicle, and credentials.
- Conduct background checks and ongoing monitoring as permitted by law.

- Monitor and enforce our Terms of Service and safety guidelines.
- Respond to emergency situations (e.g., through the SOS feature, sharing your location with emergency services if activated).

- For Communication:

- Communicate about promotions, news, and events relevant to drivers (you can opt-out of marketing communications).
- Respond to your customer service inquiries.
- For Legal and Compliance:
- Comply with legal obligations, court orders, and governmental requests (e.g., tax reporting).

3. How We Share Your Information
We may share your information with the following categories of recipients:
- With Riders/Users: To facilitate a trip, we share limited information with the rider/user, such as your name, profile picture, vehicle make/model/license plate, real-time location during an active trip, and your rating. Your phone number is typically masked or communicated via in-app features.
- With Transporters/Users (for Cargo/Car Rental): For cargo services, we share relevant information with the user who created the tender (e.g., your name, vehicle type, estimated arrival). For car rental, your vehicle details and availability are shared with verified users.
- With Service Providers: We work with third-party service providers to perform services on our behalf, such as payment processing, cloud hosting, data analytics, background checks, marketing, and customer support. These providers have access to your information only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
- For Legal Reasons: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or a government agency), or to protect the rights, property, or safety of GoRide, our users, or others.
- Business Transfers: In connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, consolidation or restructuring, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by or into another company.
- With Your Consent: We may share your information in other ways if you have given us explicit consent to do so.
4. Location Data Specifics
GoRide is a location-based service, and continuous collection of your precise location data is fundamental to the operation of the Driver App.
- Purpose: Your location data is used to:
- Match you with nearby trip requests.
- Provide accurate navigation and routing.
- Track trip progress and ensure accurate fare calculation.
- Monitor your availability and direct you to high-demand areas.
- Enhance safety features, including the SOS function.
- Verify service delivery and trip completion.
- Control: You have control over the Driver App's access to your location services through your device's operating system settings (e.g., iOS Location Services, Android Location Permissions).
- To receive trip requests and use the core functionalities of the Driver App, you must grant permission for precise location collection, ideally "Always" or "Allow all the time," to enable background location tracking while you are online and available.
- Disabling location services or restricting background access will significantly limit or prevent your ability to receive requests, conduct trips, and earn through the GoRide platform.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services to you, comply with our legal and regulatory obligations (e.g., tax, accounting, driver safety records), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. For example, we retain trip history, earnings data, and driver verification documents for periods required by law. Data related to safety incidents or reported violations may be retained longer for investigation and prevention purposes.
6. Your Choices and Rights
You have certain rights regarding your personal information:
- Access and Correction: You can review and update your account and vehicle information at any time through the Driver App's settings or by contacting support.
- Deletion: You may request the deletion of your GoRide Driver account and associated personal data. Please note that we may retain certain information for a limited period or indefinitely as required by law, for legitimate business purposes (e.g., outstanding payments, safety incidents, legal obligations, tax reporting), or to prevent fraud.
- Marketing Communications: You can opt-out of receiving promotional emails or SMS messages from us by following the unsubscribe instructions in those messages or by updating your preferences in the Driver App settings.
- Location Permissions: As detailed above, you can manage your device's location permissions for the GoRide Driver App through your phone settings.
- Notifications: You can manage your notification preferences (e.g., push notifications, SMS) through your device settings or the Driver App's settings.

7. Security Measures
We implement reasonable security measures, including administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Our Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information.
